As a national high-tech enterprise, Hohhot Risun China Gas Energy Limited is located in Risun Hohhot Park, Qingshuihe Economic Development Zone, Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia. It was jointly invested by Risun Group (67% equity), Hohhot Zhongran (22% equity), and Tianjin Baisen (11% equity), and was established in September 2019 with a registered capital of 1.336 billion yuan and covers an area of 2,250 mu. It is equipped with 3.6 million tons/year coking (four 6.78-meter tamping coke ovens), 300,000 tons/year synthetic ammonia, 2×260t/h dry quenching coke, and 2×35MW power generation facilities, forming an annual production capacity of 3.6 million tons of coke, 300,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, 100,000 tons of methanol, 480 million standard cubic meters of hydrogen, 140,000 tons of tar, 47,000 tons of crude benzene, and an annual power generation capacity of 500 million kWh. It extends the industrial chain, develops comprehensive utilization of resources such as alcohol ammonia, aromatic hydrocarbons, carbon materials, and high-end material projects, and constructs "six centers" (Production Control Center, Energy Management Center, Power Center, Logistics Center, Innovation Research and Development Center, and Life Service Center) to achieve optimal coordinated development of integrated circular industry in the park. In November 2020, it signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement on hydrogen utilization with the Qingshuihe County Government, carrying out comprehensive strategic cooperation in areas such as hydrogen production, storage and transportation, hydrogen refueling station construction, and hydrogen energy industry; it has won honorary qualifications such as Excellent High-tech Enterprise in Digital Construction, Level 3 Enterprise in Safety Production Standardization (dangerous chemicals), Enterprise Technology Center in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Occupational Health Enterprise in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Main Enterprise of Six Industrial Cluster Chains in Hohhot, Hohhot May Day Labor Medal and Certificate, Hohhot Enterprise Research and Development Center, and Exemplary Organization of Hohhot Safe Production Month.
