Risun Cangzhou Base is a chemical base and an important nylon new material industrial base of Risun Group, mainly engaged in the production of polymer materials. It is located in the petrochemical industry cluster area of Bohai New Area in Cangzhou, Hebei Province, and is situated in the hinterland of Huanghua Port Area, the central region of the Bohai Rim. It was established in June 2011 and covers an area of 3,285 mu. It has a first phase of 150,000 tons/year of caprolactam, 135,000 tons/year of cyclohexanone, a 75t/h boiler, 3×220t/h boilers, and 2×25MW back pressure steam turbine generator units; a second phase of equipment includes 300,000 tons/year of caprolactam, 270,000 tons/year of cyclohexanone, 343,000 tons/year (35%) of hydrogen peroxide, 80,000 standard cubic meters/hour of hydrogen production, 300,000 tons/year of synthetic ammonia, 1×410t/h boiler, 50MW back pressure steam turbine generator set, 400m3/h sewage treatment, etc. It mainly produces and operates products such as caprolactam, cyclohexanone, ammonium sulfate, etc. It has obtained honors and qualifications such as National High-tech Enterprise, A-level Environmental Performance Enterprise, Hebei Green Factory, Hebei Enterprise Technology Center, Backbone Enterprise of Strategic Emerging Industry Clusters in Hebei Province, Demonstration Unit for Safety Culture Construction in Hebei Province, the first batch of positive list enterprises for environmental supervision in Hebei Province, Occupational Health Enterprises in Hebei Province, pilot enterprise for carbon dioxide capture, utilization and storage projects in Hebei Province, "Model Workers' Home" of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, and Hebei Province Integrity Enterprise.

Risun Cangzhou Base takes caprolactam as the leading industry in the base, leveraging it as an important monomer for the production of nylon 6, with excellent thermal stability, processability, mechanical properties, and chemical resistance. Its consumer areas involve fibers (civilian silk, industrial silk, carpet silk), engineering plastics, food packaging films, and are widely used in the fields of automobiles, ships, medical products, daily necessities, electronics, and electronic components, with significant industrial advantages and market prospects. Combined with Dongming Base, it aims to create a pillar industry for Risun Chemical Industry.

The first phase of caprolactam in Risun Cangzhou Base is a provincial and municipal industrial support project included in the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" of Hebei Province; the second phase of caprolactam is the largest monomer investment and most technologically advanced project in the history of Risun Group. Through this, the production capacity of caprolactam in a single factory area in Cangzhou Base ranks among the top in the industry, achieving the highest output value, largest commodity volume, optimal product quality, and lowest production cost in a single base area nationwide. It completely solves the existing raw material and technical bottlenecks, greatly optimizes energy consumption and raw material conversion rate, and effectively reduces the generation of pollutants such as wastewater, exhaust gas, dust, and slag. With Cangzhou Base and Dongming Base, Risun Group's total scale of caprolactam has reached 750,000 tons/year, becoming the world's second largest caprolactam producer with a market share of 7.1%. The cost per ton has been reduced by 1600-1900 yuan, and the production and export volume have repeatedly reached new highs. The number of domestic and foreign customers has rapidly increased, and the core competitiveness of the product has been greatly enhanced.

Looking towards the future, Risun Cangzhou Base adheres to the development positioning of "leading by technological innovation, based on the production of millions of tons of caprolactam, aiming for high-end materials, and building the world's most competitive leading enterprise in caprolactam and nylon new materials", comprehensively improving profitability and strengthening the comprehensive competitiveness of Risun Chemical Industry System; it fills in the gaps and removes bottlenecks, explores the feasibility of expanding the scale of caprolactam, investigates investment opportunities in new materials, collaborates with Dongming base to build the Group's PA6, PA66 and other new material sectors based on caprolactam, and jointly creates a global benchmark for the first industry of caprolactam.
