Coal tar is a by-product obtained from the high-temperature dry distillation process of coal coking, which is a black oily liquid with a special odor. The quality standard refers to the industry standard YB/T 5075-2010. Its main components are aromatic hydrocarbons and organic compounds containing oxygen, nitrogen, or sulfur, with a yield generally reaching 3.5-4% of coke production capacity, which is relatively high. High-temperature coal tar contains tens of thousands of components, and nearly 500 compounds have been isolated and confirmed from it.
The total scale of coking in Risun Group is 24.15 million tons/year (17.1 million tons/year in production, 2.45 million tons/year under construction, 4.6 million tons/year under management), with advanced and complete supporting chemical production equipment and complete environmental protection facilities, corresponding to a high-quality coal tar production of 800,000 tons/year. Meanwhile, Risun is the third largest high-temperature coal tar processor in the world, with a total operating production scale of 1.3 million tons/year. In the operation of tar plants for more than ten years, it has deeply cultivated the raw material and product market of tar plants, and has rich experience in tar deep processing operation management.
